Product Description
This particular Clipper has great, fast action and is fairly well preserved for its age. There is some paint loss on the back of the neck as shown in the pics but this is of no consequence to function or stability. Overall there are marks and nicks from use but gives the impression that the guitar is half it’s age. It appears the owner may have updated or replaced the original pickguard with a contemporary Gretsch model as well as the bridge, normally being wooden has been replaced with a Gibson style ‘Tune-O-Matic’. One tuner is bent although it still turns smoothly and works as it should.
